As a club we encourage and support our junior players to learn more than the core playing skills, an opportunity taken up by 6 (six) of our Current Under 16 squad.

Over the past year the six decided that playing wasn't enough and that they would learn more about the game if they understood the laws of the game, so they attended a Refereeing course and passed.

each one of them have spent the summer refining and putting into practice what they have been taught by being 4th Oficials at Academy games and refering the vatious age groups at Wyke.

Who knows one day we may see a Wyke player on TV refereeing.
